Resolving Conflict God's Way

Hi Beloved, I pray that you are ready to grow. Let's be honest upfront and admit that we're imperfect beings that are being perfected through God's grace and mercy for His children.

First, let's talk about what conflict is...

Conflict is normal in any relationship but can be resolved healthily with a beautiful outcome. Conflicts are a little more heated than disagreements and are more dangerous. Conflicts are like erupting arguments that spew out offenses, name-calling, blaming, threats, and discord. No one wants that eruption but it can be difficult to avoid getting there.

Before I tell you ways to resolve conflict, I'd like to show you the benefits of mature resolution. I want you to know what you're gaining when you demonstrate self-control.

The benefits of resolving conflicts God's way include:

Honoring God
Spiritual maturity
Healthier relationships
Openness to new and different ideas
Getting the chance to explain your point of view
Wiser ways to handle situations
Gaining respect when others approach you the wrong way but you handle it God's way
Consideration for others
Built and increased connections
Evangelism is easy when people have pleasant interactions with you
Opportunities to forgive
Making good use of your time
Completing tasks
Self-reflection
Self-improvement
Being a better example
More focus to be attentive to what's important
More commitment to each other and/or tasks
and my favorite....participating with GOD while BEATING THE devils'HEAD IN!!!!

There are some situations where you need to be distant from people and God will use a conflict to help you grow. Some barriers are needed and healthy. Sometimes we get involved with long-term ideas and efforts when the relationship was meant to be temporary. Some relationships God never put together in the first place. If He didn't put it together, He will let it break it apart if we let Him. If participants humble themselves and submit to God fully, He can with them but if the relationship is drawing someone away from Him....and He didn't put it together, it was never meant to be. Watch this video to learn more about it. A healthy God-ordained relationship will draw you to God. God has saved me from torment by getting me away from some people that were toxic, out to murder my destiny and kill my joy. Hallelujah!!!!! Thank you Jesus for saving me.

However, if a conflict can be avoided, it should be. We must be good stewards of the relationships that God has put together. Not just romantic relationships but platonic relationships, parent/child relationships, spiritual relationships, career relationships, and all.

To be more aware of the damage caused by conflict, we need to look at it clearly written.

What Conflict without God looks like:

Dishonoring God
Broken homes
Highlight insecurities
Bringing out the worst in people
Psychological abuse
Physical abuse
Worry about everything
Pessimism
Condemnation
Court trials, fees, and headache
Physical draining of energy
Fear
Backbiting
Insubordination
Hardened hearts
Unforgiveness
Spoken words that should have never been uttered
Loss of love, support, and reality
Anger and aggressive behavior
Insolence
Childishness
Animosity towards God
Revenge
Malice behavior
Loss of respect from others
oh my....participating with the devil

Whoa! These issues cause desolation and despair.

I'm sure you don't want that so meditate on these things, read the word of God, and repent when necessary. Read part 2 when you're ready to move on to the next step of "Resolving Conflict God's Way." Oh and by the way....expect growth precious beloved!!!
