Enemies confused and bewildered
The mouths of your enemies shall be shut and their ears deaf
Your enemies shall fear you because they fear God in you
Micah the prophet delivered a message of judgment and hope to Zion (God's people). Many have been worried about the coronavirus and God's judgment although the answer is simple.
What has happened over and over again is that people forget God's goodness and mercy causing them to desire sin over holiness. Then God allows an event occur (that man has brought on self) that causes people to realize their need for God and to be dependent upon Him once again. Also, to live in holiness, righteousness, obedience and reverence towards God. Then God pulls His prophets that He had been raising in caves out to call for repentance. The more severe the judgment, the worst the sin was that got us there and the coronavirus is severe. Scripture even says that false prophets will speak peace and say that we're not under judgment.
Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. Micah 3:5
Yes, this is against God. What real prophet will not tell people to repent? That's not even within a prophets' nature. A prophet wants to see people turn from their wicked ways and yield to God. They cry for obedience. They lose sleep over it. Surly they are quick to let the people of God know about judgment.
So should you be scared of the coronavirus? No
What should you do? Repent
It's actually just that simple for you to see the marvelous things that God will show you. Let's take a look at what God WILL do when we come out of sin.
According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.
The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of thee.
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. Micah 7:15-20
It's clear to see that you don't have to worry and you don't even have to feel condemned due to your past sins. Just move forward WITH God and you'll see marvelous things while destruction is held back from you personally. Cheer up Zion for the King has spoken blessings over you!
Prayer for Repentance:
Lord, I repent for the sins, trespasses, and transgressions done against you by my ancestors, my nation, my family, and myself. Lord, I am ready to come out of sin according to Micah 7:15. Please show me marvelous things that you have for me and will do with me. Today, I submit myself to you oh merciful God brand new like never before and I ask for forgiveness. Subdue my iniquities, cast my sins into the depths of the sea. I receive your goodness, love, and kindness towards me. Thank you Lord, that I benefit in every situation. I do not fear man, spirits, or darkness because I fear you. I love you Lord with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. In the name of the Most High God, Jesus. Amen!
Tips:
Whether you're a prophet or not, it's your responsibility as a Christian to help people turn to God. You are called to preach the Gospel. Leaders especially are required to tell people to repent. Do not be afraid of loosing members, likes, recognition and accolades. Those don't get you into heaven.
